Based on a leading daily, today, headed by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, the Council of Ministers approved sabbatical leave for citizens working in the government who wish to run their own businesses.
The leave is for an entire year with half the salary while maintaining the job. The decision aims to encourage young people to take advantage of the national economy’s vast business opportunities.
His Highness said: “Today, we decided within the Council to leave full-time for citizens working in the government who wish to run their own businesses. The leave is for a whole year with half the salary while preserving the job. Our goal is to encourage our youth to take advantage of our national economy’s substantial business opportunities.
